Capital Title is committed to performing all necessary functions in-house and in the shortest period of time.

We are seeking a Transaction Coordinator to join our Birmingham office.

This role is a great opportunity for someone with title industry experience who enjoys working closely with agents, customers, and internal team members to help ensure transactions move forward smoothly and efficiently.

Position Summary
The Transaction Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact throughout the transaction process, working closely with the Document Coordinator and branch team to support agents, customers, and closing-related needs. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple files and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Experienced Escrow Agent, Level II Certification, confidence in answering questions
  • Works in conjunction with Document Coordinator
  • Point of contact for real estate agents requesting status of transaction; answering customer questions
  • Reviewing title commitment and sending to agents with list of requirements for closing
  • Coordinate scheduling of closings.
  • Reviewing closing documents for accuracy and sending to agents
  • Update information in RamQuest software, including but not limited to notes, task list, and tracking
  • Understand and comply with TRID regulations, including protection of Non-Public Information.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience in the title industry, to include a basic understanding of title documents; ability to have strong attention to detail and accurate data entry.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent oral, written, and language skills to be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write clear, effective, and error-free correspondence. Responds well to internal and external customers’ questions, demonstrates group presentation skills, and speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations.
  • Excellent mathematical skills to be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute ratios, rates, and percentages. Strong math and analytical skills required.
