MRI Technologist

Barrington Orthopedic Specialists is looking for a full-time MRI Technologist!

Barrington Orthopedic Specialists was established in 1980 with a philosophy of treating patients as you would want to be treated. The practice has remained as the premier orthopedic provider of the northwest Chicago suburbs, providing compassionate, individualized care for patients' bones, joints, and muscle injuries and conditions.

Scheduled Hours Needed:

We are seeking a full-time Certified MRI Technologist. MRI Experience Necessary!

Scheduled Shifts:

Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 4:00pm, optional evening/Saturday coverage available

MRI Locations: Schaumburg and Bartlett

Requirements:

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE ON HITACHI ECHELON 1.5T

  • Current/valid certification by ARRT (R)) (MRI)
  • Maintain current BLS credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Able to perform venipuncture and administer contrast media per contrast Policy and Procedures in a clinical setting
  • Able to navigate electronic medical records information systems
  • Experience with Athena and PACS is a PLUS
  • Responsible for patient safety, including pre-screening and research
  • MRI Orthopedic experience: 2 years required

Salary Range: $36.00 - $42.00 depending on experience.
