Nurse Practitioner โ€“ Rheumatology

Four Squared Solutions is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner โ€“ Rheumatology Care for an opportunity located in Greater Deltona Florida area.

Position Title: Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) Location: Greater Deltona Florida Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 2โ€“5 Years as a Nurse Practitioner

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Rheumatology practice in Orlando, Florida. The ideal candidate will have 2โ€“5 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with experience in rheumatology, internal medicine, family medicine, or a related specialty. The NP will work collaboratively with our physicians and healthcare team to provide comprehensive care for patients with autoimmune and musculoskeletal disorders.

This position offers an excellent work-life balance, minimal call responsibilities, and the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients while managing complex chronic conditions.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with rheumatologic conditions including:
    • Rheumatoid Arthritis
    • Psoriatic Arthritis
    • Osteoarthritis
    • Lupus
    • Gout
    • Ankylosing Spondylitis
    • Sjรถgren's Syndrome
    • Osteoporosis
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and follow-up visits.
  • Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic testing.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Initiate and monitor biologic therapies and disease-modifying medications (DMARDs).
  • Monitor patients for medication efficacy and adverse effects.
  • Educate patients regarding disease management, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with physicians, infusion staff, pharmacists, and ancillary healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.
Qualifications Required
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
  • Current Florida Nurse Practitioner license.
  • National NP certification (AANP or ANCC).
  • DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years Nurse Practitioner in rheumatology
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
Preferred
  • Previous Rheumatology experience.
  • Experience managing biologic medications and infusion therapies.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems.
  • Experience in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Endocrinology, or Orthopedics.

Salary Range: $130,000 โ€“ $145,000 base salary plus productivity incentives.
