Seeking YOU to support your local blood drives!

Your local American Red Cross office is seeking volunteers to assist with local blood drives as a Blood Donor Ambassador. Are you a friendly person who wants to volunteer in person? This could be a great way for you to give back to your community in a meaningful way. Here is what you could do as a Blood Donor Ambassador:

  • Provide excellent and enthusiastic customer service to enhance the blood donor experience.
  • Engage with blood donors to promote blood donation and set the stage for a long-term commitment to regular blood donations.
  • Assist donors with re-hydrating after donation and observe for post-donation reactions.
  • Express gratitude and ensure each blood donor is sincerely thanked for their donation.

In addition to being friendly, we are seeking someone who is passionate about our Red Cross mission, has basic computer skills, and will treat all blood donors and drive staff with respect. You will likely be the first and last person a donor will meet at a drive. This is a critical role. This role can provide you with hands-on customer service experience with a highly respected organization. If you would like to join the team, please sign up at redcross.org/volunteer.
