What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Volunteer Reader, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Volunteer Reader, you need strong reading fluency, clear enunciation, and a good command of the language, often supported by basic literacy training or experience. Familiarity with audio recording equipment, reading software, or assistive technology may be required depending on the setting.
