American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Seattle, Washington.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience and proficiency operating C-arms in surgery.

Details
  • Work in an acute care hospital setting performing X-ray procedures
  • Perform a full range of diagnostic imaging including abdomen, chest, upper and lower extremity, spine, pelvis, and head studies
  • Perform trauma imaging and fluoroscopy studies such as barium swallow, contrast enema, ERCP, and upper GI series
  • Support surgical cases using C-arm equipment
  • Utilize GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba imaging equipment along with PACS
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM
  • No weekend shifts required
  • On-call is voluntary and not mandatory
  • No floating to other campuses required
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in X-ray procedures required
  • Experience running C-arms in surgery required
  • ARRT-R certification and BLS required
  • WA state license required in hand at time of submission (license required if applicable)
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Surgical experience preferred
  • Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
Additional Information
  • Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiology procedures across adult and pediatric patient populations in acute care, outpatient, ED, ICU, NICU, PICU, and operating room settings
  • Administer or assist with preparation of contrast media as needed
  • Follow infection prevention, isolation precautions, and radiation safety protocols
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this role
  • Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
  • Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the local rule/lower bill rate
  • Former Providence-affiliated permanent employees must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for this travel position
