We are now hiring Quotation Specialist who is team players, versatile, and dependable!
Quotation Specialist Job Summary
- Shift: 8:00-5:00 - M-F
- $25-30 Flexibility to the right candidate
- Temp-to-Hire
Quotation Specialist Responsibilities
- Develop quotations based on branch preferences, including manufacturers, profit margins, etc.
- Possess the ability to identify relevant materials to be quoted.
- Maintain good customer and vendor relationships
- Interact/negotiate with vendors.
- Partner with Outside Sales and Branch Managers to complete commercial quotes for large volume projects.
- Organize and file inbound emails and attachments appropriately in project folders
- Identify business critical issues quickly and collaborate with team members to resolve
- Utilize and maintain established SOP's to complete quotation processes
- Follow up on customer quotes and contacts vendors for material pricing
- Gather required data for quote preparation, data entry of new quotes, and contact vendors for job quotes
- Performs other duties as assigned
Quotation Specialist Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
- Ability to effectively communicate and share information in a concise professional manner either verbally or through written correspondence.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or related software.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize projects and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrates acute attention to detail.
- Strong reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Initiative driven with bias for action.
- Demonstrates ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Plumbing supply knowledge required.
- Plumbing related quotation experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of quoting or estimating experience preferred.
- 1-3 years of plumbing or plumbing supply experience required.
