Job description

Program Manager
HunaTek is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to join our team. This contingent position is responsible for leading a team supporting the V Department and affiliated programs in other Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD).
Essential Job Functions
The Program Manager is the designated liaison with the Government Contracting Officer Representative managing, coordinating, and ensuring proper and timely execution of task performance.
  • Responsible for overall performance and quality compliance as stated by the client and contract agreements.
  • Design and maintain the project plan, alignment of resources, management to deliverable deadlines, and contract management to maintain cost control, schedule, and quality of all financial and resource services.
  • Approves project budgets and expenditures, final reports, and coordinates any and all project notifications.
  • Develop and maintain financial management plans, including cost analysis and forecasting for resources and services.
  • Establishes and maintains clear channels of communication with Contracting Officer Representative by providing status reports, risk and corrective action plans, etc.
  • Provides programmatic support to clients, including administrative coordination and management of timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, assess needs, and provide strategic advice and recommendations for financial and resource management efforts.
  • Collaborate with clients to resolve issues, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with financial and resource services.
  • Conduct interviews to fully staff the contract to meet program requirements.
  • Manage and supervise staff, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve program objectives and ensure adherence to all company policies.

Skills and Qualifications Required
  • US Citizenship.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be detail oriented and organized.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to present briefs and interact with senior leaders/stakeholders.
  • Expertise in the principles and practices of program management.
  • Proficiency in the substantive nature of programs and the analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for assessing program development or execution.
  • Expert ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information.
  • Expertise in leading and managing other employees.
  • High level of proficiency of Microsoft Office 365 programs, including Excel and SharePoint.
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' Program Management experience including five (5) years' Federal Government program experience.

Skills and Qualifications Preferred:
  • Direct experience supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division.
  • Experience managing or executing operations, acquisition, and/or financial management contracts.
