Job Description

• Provide training direction, encouragement, and motivation to enhance the Board's effectiveness and recruitment efforts.

• Plan, organize, and conduct this year's Development Retreat.

• Explain and present information on the following retreat topics: Board expectations and responsibilities, fundraising, community partnerships, and marketing.

• Plan and direct group activities and discussions for this year's Development Retreat.

• Instruct individuals or groups on how to be an effective Board member.

• Inform current and potential Board members of goals and strategies the organization plans to implement.

• Provide ideas and suggestions for Board enhancement.

• Maintain knowledge of Board activities.

• Recruit influential and successful individuals for the Board.

Qualifications

• Experience in training individuals and fostering group activities and discussions.

• Excellent presentation skills and an ability to connect with others

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal

• Passion for women's education and economic opportunities.

• Administration and management knowledge.

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field

• 2-4 years in non-profit organization experience.
