Job Description The Naval Nuclear Laboratory, Field Construction Engineering organization is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a multi-disciplined group of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to interface with system/ infrastructure engineers and architect engineering and construction subcontractors and provide technical knowledge for the execution of projects at the Naval Reactors Facility located on the Idaho National Laboratory site. This role works within a project execution team environment with a Project Manager, Contract Administrator, Project Analyst, Construction Oversight personnel, and other Engineers to deliver projects in the construction portfolio ranging from short duration (<1yr) to multi-year, multi-million-dollar major capital improvement projects for the renovation of aging infrastructure and systems. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience; or Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering, science field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; or Currently a Principal Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field (RPCO) Engineer at the Company. Pay Range $106,200.00 - $166,000.00 annually Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
