Coordinator Volunteer Services
Location: UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora CO
Department: Volunteer Services
Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $22.80 - $29.64 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.
Summary:
Organizes and coordinates the activities and flow of work for Volunteer Services.
Responsibilities:
Conducts recruitment, selection, and training of volunteers in the clinical and non-clinical settings. Coordinates the schedules and daily activities of volunteers.
Prioritizes multiple tasks and projects to ensure timely completion. Delegates and assigns work commensurate with knowledge, skill and experience, and ensures the work is performed appropriately.
Facilitates the development, implementation and evaluation of program or area services and initiatives. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution, implementation of new services, and performance measures.
Supports the leadership with operations and needs of the department.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of relevant experience. Preferred: Experience supervising/scheduling volunteers.
