Position Summary
The Lecturer will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in Food Science and Technology, including in-person and distance education formats. The position supports the instructional mission of the department through course delivery, student engagement, and curriculum support.
Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching (100%)
  • Teach assigned undergraduate courses in food science and related disciplines.
  • Deliver instruction in both in-person and online modalities depending on the course.
  • Maintain and update course materials, assessments, and grading in accordance with university standards.
  • Provide student advising and mentoring related to course content.

Required Education
  • Master's degree or higher in Food Science and Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.

Required Experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in food science or a related discipline.
  • Experience teaching at the college, university, or professional training level.
  • Ability to effectively teach and engage diverse student populations.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience using instructional technologies and learning management systems.
