We're hiring a T3 Content and Technical Writer at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO and we're looking for someone who's ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.
The T3 Content and Technical Writer brings creativity and precision to their work, helping tell the T3 story through clear, engaging, and impactful content. This role develops and supports customer-facing communications, digital content, technical documentation, and knowledge resources to help customers and employees use T3 successfully. By partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, this role helps create, maintain, and improve content while ensuring T3's voice remains consistent across customer and employee touchpoints
Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform job duties in accordance with EquipmentShare's vision, mission, and values.
  • Develop, contribute, revise, and maintain customer-facing communications, sales enablement resources, technical documentation, knowledge base articles, SOPs, playbooks, user guides, training materials, and operational documentation.
  • Develop content that supports customer education, employee enablement, sales enablement, product adoption, and business operations.
  • Coordinate with Product, Marketing, and other stakeholders to align messaging and improve the overall knowledge experience.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to develop, review, coordinate, and publish content that supports customer education, training, sales enablement, and product adoption.
  • Translate technical, operational, and product information into clear, accurate, and engaging content for diverse audiences.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate content creation, editing, organization, and maintenance while ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency.
  • Help establish and maintain documentation standards, templates, style guides, and governance practices to ensure consistent, high-quality content.
  • Review, edit, and continuously improve content to ensure accuracy, consistency, accessibility, branding, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Partner with Product and other stakeholders to ensure customer communications, documentation, and training resources reflect product enhancements, business initiatives, and process changes.
  • Create visual content, including screenshots, diagrams, workflow maps, videos, and other supporting resources, to enhance understanding.
  • Analyze stakeholder feedback, content usage, and support trends to identify content gaps and continuously improve documentation and knowledge resources.

Skills & Qualifications
    • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills with a talent for creating clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate content.
    • Strong technical writing, editing, proofreading, and quality assurance skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in developing sales enablement resources, customer-facing communications, technical documentation, knowledge base content, training materials, and operational documentation.

    • Strong understanding of content strategy, knowledge management, and documentation best practices.

    Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, Technical Writing, or related field preferred.
    • At least 3 years of experience in content development, technical writing, communications, customer education, or a related field.
    • Experience creating customer-facing communications, technical documentation, knowledge base content, training materials, or operational documentation.
    • Experience working with content management systems (CMS), knowledge base platforms, learning management systems (LMS), or documentation tools preferred.
    • Experience in SaaS, technology, or construction/fleet management industries is preferred.

    Physical Requirements:
    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
