Job description

CSI Companies is seeking an experienced Tech Lead (Full Stack Engineer) to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high performing enterprise applications. This role focuses on full stack development, microservices architecture, DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and modern application development within a collaborative enterprise environment.

This opportunity is ideal for a hands on technical leader who enjoys mentoring development teams, driving engineering best practices, and delivering enterprise scale solutions while working closely with business and technical stakeholders.

You will provide technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle and support modernization initiatives, including AI enabled solutions and cloud native architectures.

Work Authorization

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and eligible for W2 employment. Limited sponsorship may be available based on client requirements. No corp to corp arrangements are available.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, integration, and deployment of enterprise web applications and microservices

• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams

• Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver enterprise solutions

• Develop applications using Java, JavaScript, Angular, Spring Boot, React, Node.js, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Docker, GitHub, and IAM technologies

• Design and support REST and SOAP services using modern microservices architectures

• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with engineering best practices

• Drive adoption of CI and CD processes, automated testing, secure development practices, and software quality standards

• Collaborate with onsite, offshore, and global development teams

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support production deployments

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions

• Support AI and LLM integrations while ensuring compliance with governance requirements

• Deliver technical demonstrations and present solution recommendations to stakeholders

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

• 7 or more years of experience developing and delivering enterprise web applications

• 7 or more years of experience as a Java Full Stack Developer

• Strong experience with Java, JavaScript, Angular, HTML, Spring Boot, React, and Node.js

• Experience developing REST and SOAP services using microservices architectures

• Strong experience with MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, GitHub, Docker, and Identity and Access Management technologies

• Strong DevOps experience including GitHub Actions, Bamboo, SonarQube, CI and CD pipelines, and deployment automation

• Experience developing responsive web applications and integrating third party APIs

• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices including code reviews, refactoring, automated testing, and secure coding

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

• Experience working with offshore and India based development teams

• Ability to understand and implement AI enabled solutions

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to work onsite in Pleasanton California

• Ability to travel up to 10 percent as needed
