Job description

Job Title: Senior AWS Full Stack Software Engineer Location: Plano, TX/Reston, VA/Columbia, SC/Knoxville, TN/Lafayette, LA/Birmingham, AL Type: Permanent Full Time

Responsibilities • Develop and maintain full stack applications using Java/Spring Boot, Python, and Angular. • Build and support cloud native applications and services on AWS, including Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and RDS. • Develop REST APIs, microservices, integrations, and distributed application components. • Incorporate AI/GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and LLM based solutions into development workflows. • Work with LLM APIs and agentic/agent based workflows to automate tasks and enhance application capabilities. • Use AI assisted development practices for code generation, unit testing, test automation, and code reviews. • Participate in peer reviews and maintain strong standards for code quality, performance, security, and maintainability. • Translate business and technical requirements into reliable application solutions. • Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices. • Mentor junior engineers while remaining an active, hands-on contributor.

Requirements • 5+ years of full stack software engineering experience in enterprise application environments. • Strong hands-on development experience with Java and Spring Boot. • Strong experience developing applications and services using Python. • Front end development experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. • Hands on experience developing and deploying applications on AWS. • Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and RDS. • Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. • Practical experience using Generative AI and AI assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT. • Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), LLM APIs, and agentic or agent-based workflows. • Experience applying AI to software engineering activities such as code generation, unit testing, test automation, and code reviews. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Git, and automated testing frameworks. • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on complex technical assignments. • Ability to work effectively with business and technology stakeholders in an enterprise environment. • Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior developers. • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
