Job description

Job Title- Intramural Supervisor 

Ithaca College is looking for an enthusiastic Intramural Supervisor to oversee our intramural sports programs. The ideal candidate will ensure a positive and safe environment for all participants, while promoting sportsmanship and engagement.

 Responsibilities  

Supervise and coordinate intramural sports leagues and events. 

Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. 

Enforce rules and regulations, maintaining a fair and competitive atmosphere. 

Provide guidance and support to referees and scorekeepers. 

Handle any conflicts or issues that arise during games. 

Assist with scheduling, set-up, and take-down of facilities. 

Promote a culture of inclusivity and sportsmanship among participants. 

Communicate effectively with participants, staff, and volunteers. 

Qualifications 

Knowledge of various sports and their rules. 

Previous experience as an intramural official in at least one sport.

Previous experience in sports supervision or recreation is a plus.

Strong leadership and communication skills. 

Ability to handle conflicts and resolve issues effectively. 

Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed.
