What You Will Do

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable individual to serve as an Administrative Assistant, supporting the day-to-day operations of our ministry. The successful candidate will be highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and committed to serving with excellence behind the scenes. This role requires someone who can use their God-given gifts in administration, communication, and organization while supporting leadership and staff. Strong interpersonal skills and a servant-hearted approach are essential, as this position regularly interacts with internal teams, ministry partners, and the broader community. 


You Will:

  • Provide reception serving as a welcoming and professional first point of contact
  • Provide general administrative support and internal communications
  • Edit, design and prepare promotional materials in support of fundraising and donor engagement efforts.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving of office and ministry materials
  • Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and mailing lists
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of committee members
  • Operate and maintain office equipment and manage inventory and supplies
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding of volunteers
  • Coordinate volunteers 
  • Assist with general office maintenance to ensure an organized work environment
  • Participate in regular supervisory, satellite staff, and chapter-wide staff meetings
  • Comply with SWO YFC policies, procedures, and risk management requirements

  • Spiritual and ethical maturity
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent relational skills with a professional approach to relationships 
  • Strong interpersonal, administrative and organizational skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Willingness to participate within a team that undertakes a variety of weekly tasks
  • Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check (Vulnerable Persons Sector)
