Job description

Beyond Nations is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving vulnerable children and families in Uganda through education and community development programs.

We are seeking a volunteer Grant Research Specialist to help identify funding opportunities that can support and sustain our programs.

Responsibilities

  • Research foundations and grant opportunities.
  • Identify funding opportunities aligned with our mission.
  • Maintain a grant calendar and deadlines.
  • Organize funding prospects and application requirements.
  • Assist leadership in prioritizing grant opportunities.

This position focuses on research and grant identification. Previous grant writing experience is welcomed but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong research skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Interest in nonprofit development.
  • Experience with grant research or fundraising is a plus.
