Job description

Coordinate the conduct ofย Phase I through Phase IVย clinicalย research studiesย in accordance withย Good Clinical Practicesย (GCPs), International Harmonization Guideline and Standard Operating Proceduresย (SOPs) beginning withย pre-study planning through successful completion of all study visits.ย ย 

What You'll Do:ย 

  • Maintainย a good levelย ofย knowledge and understanding of assigned protocols, including all protocol requirements forย studyย visits, obtaining informed consent,ย studyย visit schedules, tests, procedures, laboratory information, and drug accountability requirementsย 
  • Recruitย subject volunteersย for studies;ย Work with theย Recruitment Department withย developingย ย study-relatedย materialsย and interview questionnairesย 
  • Create source templates for study documentation, complete case report forms, andย other study specific documents seekingย assistanceย from Senior Clinical Research Coordinator, Principal Clinical Research Coordinator, Teamย Leaderย or Clinical Site Director, as neededย 
  • Ensure consistency and effective communication duringย studyย visits and assure all procedures are conducted in compliance with the clinical protocol; Maintainย subjectย safety, assessย feedback fromย study participantย and refer to investigators or other professionals as needed;ย If applicable,ย administer study medications based on state licensure, account for medications usedย 
  • Coordinate and conductย studyย visits; Assure all procedures are conducted in compliance with the clinical protocol andย in accordanceย withย all applicable regulations and in compliance withย GCPsย 
  • Interact with Investigators or study sponsors as needed to assure the study participantย receivesย appropriate medicalย evaluation and care when neededย 
  • Interact with the sponsor Clinical Research Associate toย facilitateย the sponsor monitoring and database clean-up processย 
  • Attend sponsor Investigator/Study Coordinator meetings asย needed for assigned protocolsย 
  • Conduct clinical research in compliance with all applicable regulations; Requestย assistanceย and technical advice from Senior Clinical Research Coordinator, Principal Clinical Research Coordinator, Teamย Leader, or Clinical Site Director,ย as neededย 
  • Actively seeksย out development opportunitiesย 
  • Behave cooperatively and constructively; Follow all company policies, state, local,ย federal, and other applicableย lawsย and guidelines;ย Comply with allย job-specific requirementsย 

What You'll Bring:ย 

  • 1+ year of experience as a clinical research coordinator or in a similar position within the medical or mental health fieldย 
  • Bachelorโ€™sย degree in life sciences or equivalent combination of related experience and education in the medical or mental health field
  • Clinical Research Coordinator Certification (CCRC) isย preferredย 
  • Associate orย Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Nursing is preferred
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) isย preferredย
