Grain Production Operator


ALCIVIA is seeking a dedicated Grain Production Operator to support operations at our Burlington Grain facility. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to efficient grain handling and storage processes while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working in both indoor and outdoor settings year-round.


Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain grain elevator systems, including conveyors, scales, and grain dryers

- Ensure efficient and accurate delivery of incoming grain from trucks and railcars

- Load and unload trucks and railcars using heavy machinery such as loaders and forklifts

- Manage inbound and outbound grain, ensuring proper handling and storage

- Maintain optimal grain conditions by monitoring moisture levels and temperature

- Accurately measure and record grain inventory data

- Uphold safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and facilities

- Assist with other operational tasks as needed to support overall facility efficiency


Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in grain handling, agriculture, or a related industrial environment preferred

- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as loaders, forklifts, and grain dryers safely

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management

- Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to grain handling and equipment operation

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus
