Job description

Belay Technologies is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our intel team. We have an immediate need for a DevOps Engineer to support TO-005, Report Authoring and Dissemination (RAD). Efforts will focus on DevOps engineering of a modernization effort to converge NSA’s authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools. Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call‑in support as required (roughly one week out of every 4‑6 weeks). Staff may charge 4 additional hours for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked.

Responsibilities
  • Deploying applications
  • Installing and configuring complex software
  • Managing network servers and technology tools
  • Monitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of performance
  • Troubleshooting issues and outages
Qualifications
  • TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of SWE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
Required Skills
  • Familiarity with software development/engineering such as requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, or problem diagnosis/resolution
  • Familiarity with developing software with high level languages such as Java, C, C++, JavaScript
  • Familiarity with developing software for Microsoft Windows or UNIX/Linux/Centos family of operating systems
  • Familiarity with software integration and software testing
  • Understand technical writing and have familiarity with technical documents in support of a software development project
