Senior CNC Setup Technician & G-Code Specialist

Up to $40.00/Hour + Deferred Loyalty Bonus • Greater Green Bay, WI Area • First Shift

EXPERIENCE DEPTH: 3+ Years of Complex CNC Setup Mastery & Manual G-Code Editing at the Controller

MACHINERY ASSETS: Multi-Axis Turning Centers and Milling Platforms (Modern, High-End Equipment)

WORK SCHEDULE: Mon–Thu 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM, and Fri 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM (Guaranteed Friday Early Dismissal)

LOCATION POLICY: 100% On-Site (Ultra-Modern, Heavily Automated, and Well-Lit Advanced Shop)

GOVERNMENT COMPLIANCE: Must meet Aerospace/Defense ITAR Regulations (US Citizen or Green Card Holder)

If you are a veteran machining specialist who is tired of wrestling with outdated, worn-out equipment and sacrificing your weekends to mandatory overtime, this is the elite professional sanctuary you’ve earned. Our client is a rapidly expanding, heavily capitalized precision manufacturing partner supporting critical aerospace and national defense programs. Because they aggressively reinvest profits directly back into the production floor, their average machinery age is under 3.5 years, featuring pristine multi-axis cells, advanced progressive tooling, and lights-out automation.

In this role, you will escape the monotony of high-volume, single-part production runs and enjoy massive technical autonomy. You will own your setups from scratch, dialing in programs and troubleshooting complex geometries in a supportive culture that treats top-tier machinists like true engineering professionals. Beyond a culture completely free of corporate politics, this organization provides an unmatched quality-of-life schedule that gets you home before noon every single Friday, backed by exceptional job security and a unique deferred loyalty program that builds significant capital and rewards your long-term dedication.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Execute high-precision setups on multi-axis CNC mills and lathes from raw stock utilizing detailed blueprints and advanced engineering schematics.
  • Optimize machining programs directly at the machine controller, utilizing your G-Code fluency to dial in speeds, feeds, and tool paths for complex parts.
  • Conduct rigorous first-article inspections and in-process quality audits using precision micrometers, calipers, and gauges to maintain a strict zero-defect standard.
  • Provide floor mentorship and technical guidance to machine operators, verifying offsets and ensuring tight parts repeatability throughout production runs.
  • Partner with programming and operations leadership to pioneer advanced manufacturing techniques, slash cycle times, and eliminate bottlenecking.
What We Are Looking For
  • Distinguished machining core featuring 3+ years of verifiable success performing complex CNC machine setups and executing G-Code modifications on the fly.
  • Modern platform familiarity with high-end, multi-tasking CNC machinery and advanced control interfaces.
  • Advanced technical literacy with the absolute ability to interpret complex manufacturing prints and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) callouts.
  • Rock-solid reliability backed by a stable professional work history, excellent daily punctuality, and an uncompromising safety-first mindset.
  • Local proximity and permanent residency within a comfortable daily commuting distance of the Northeast Wisconsin manufacturing corridor.
