What will you contribute?
As part of Finastra's AI COE, we are seeking Engineering Leads to oversee engineering pods to successfully embed AI capabilities into LaserPro.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables as an Engineering Lead will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead and manage a cross-functional engineering team including front-end, back-end, AI engineers, and DevOps specialists

  • Partner closely with the LaserPro Product Owner to translate product vision and requirements into technical solutions

  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI-enabled features for LaserPro products

  • Establish engineering standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks for the delivery pod

  • Ensure technical excellence across all aspects of development including code quality, testing, and documentation

  • Manage sprint execution, technical planning, and resource allocation across the engineering team

  • Drive architectural decisions and technical strategy for AI integrations into LaserPro products

  • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across front-end, back-end, AI, and DevOps disciplines

  • Remove technical blockers and resolve dependencies that impact team productivity and delivery

  • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and DevOps practices

  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and scalability, implementing improvements as needed

  • Mentor and develop engineering talent, providing technical guidance and career development support

  • Ensure engineering solutions meet security, compliance, and governance requirements

  • Collaborate with architecture and infrastructure teams to leverage shared platforms and services

  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and team capabilities

  • Manage technical debt and balance feature delivery with platform stability and maintainability


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Understanding of LaserPro domains

  • Strong technical leadership experience managing cross-functional engineering teams

  • Proven track record of delivering complex software solutions

  • Deep understanding of full-stack development including front-end, back-end, and infrastructure

  • Experience with AI/ML engineering including model integration, deployment, and monitoring

  • Expertise in modern software development methodologies including agile and lean practices

  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with product owners and translate requirements into technical solutions

  • Experience leading teams through the complete software development lifecycle

  • Strong technical skills with hands-on experience in software architecture and design

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
    Track record of building high-performing, collaborative engineering teams

  • Experience with microservices architecture, APIs, and cloud-native development

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with focus on pragmatic, scalable solutions

  • Understanding of software quality practices including testing, code reviews, and technical documentation

  • Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure
