A Brief Overview

Portland's newest venue is a 68,000-square-foot facility designed to support dynamic, large-scale live events. It offers flexible seating for 2,000 to 4,250 attendees and features a movable stage that enables multiple event configurations, making it well suited for the city's diverse live music scene.

Located at the former Nordstrom site on NE Multnomah Street, the venue sits within the Lloyd District and the Lloyd Entertainment District-an area known for its creative energy and accessibility. It is less than one mile from the Moda Center and the Oregon Convention Center, expanding the footprint of the state's most vibrant entertainment district.

The venue also provides convenient access to light rail and streetcar lines, as well as a north-south bike and pedestrian bridge. Extensive surface and adjacent parking is available at nearby Lloyd Mall structures, reflecting Portland's emphasis on connectivity, community, and vibrant urban experiences.

The Manager Ticketing is responsible for the end-to-end ticketing process for events, ensuring accurate event setup, inventory management, and sales reporting. Serving as a key partner to venue teams and artist management, this role develops ticketing programs and package offerings that support business objectives and enhance customer engagement. Through effective coordination, reporting, and system management, the Manager Ticketing helps drive operational excellence and event performance.

Job Summary

  • Gather show information from artist and talent buyer to build shows in ticketing software. Develop scaling for each show/event based on demographic/market related to artist and venue location.
  • Manage ticket holds for each event/show. Process ticket orders for artist management, record label, and internal buys.
  • Prepare and distribute daily ticket counts for agents, departments and offices at AEG Presents.
  • Work in conjunction with Talent Buyer, venue, artist and companies like Groupon and Living Social to provide discount or group rate tickets.
  • Responsible for the training of new ticketing staff on ticket sales, run will call, guest and artist comps, and coordination with tour and venue.
  • May be responsible for the creation of pop up box offices at seasonal shows and collaboration with special events groups on event ticketing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year)
  • 4-6 years
    • Of related work experience including experience in the entertainment industry
    • Must have experience working in the music industry, specifically live entertainment
    • Previous supervisory experience
    • Experience in developing start-up box offices, strategies, and arena ticketing, preferred
    • Box Office Experience is a plus
  • Familiarity of basic accounting and budgeting principals
  • Familiarity with AXS, Ticketmaster and other ticketing platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Professional
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and remain calm in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and some holidays
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Payscale: $68,465.00 - $85,000.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
