Job description

Content Creator & Social Media Manager
BMI, Inc. – Littleton / Lake Gaston Area

BMI, Inc. is looking for a creative, energetic, and organized Content Creator and Social Media Manager to lead digital marketing and content efforts across our family of growing local businesses in the Lake Gaston area.

This role is perfect for someone who loves creating engaging content, managing YouTube channels, growing social media audiences, and helping local businesses tell their stories through video, photos, and community-focused marketing.

About Us:
BMI, Inc. operates several trusted businesses serving the Lake Gaston and surrounding communities:
  • Buddy Isles Tire & Automotive.
  • Buddy Isles Collision.
  • B&M Parts & More.
  • Buddy’s Speed World.
  • Elliott Management Services.

We’re built on quality service, strong community ties, and a genuine passion for cars, motorsports, and taking care of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & YouTube Management:
  • Plan, film, edit, and produce high-quality video content for YouTube and other platforms (shop tours, before/after repairs, customer stories, how-to videos, motorsports highlights, etc.).
  • Create eye-catching short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) to drive engagement and growth.
  • Capture photos and videos of daily operations, events, and customer projects.
  • Manage and grow our YouTube channels with consistent uploads and optimization (thumbnails, titles, descriptions, tags).
Social Media Management:
  • Oversee all company social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Google Business).
  • Create, schedule, and post engaging daily/weekly content.
  • Respond to comments and messages in a professional, friendly manner.
  • Build and grow our online community and follower base.
Digital Marketing & Promotion:
  • Develop and execute creative marketing campaigns across multiple businesses.
  • Design graphics, promotional materials, and flyers.
  • Manage email and text marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain and update company websites.
  • Track performance using analytics and provide monthly reports with insights.
Community & Event Support:
  • Help plan and promote local events, including our annual car show.
  • Capture content at events and community activities.
  • Assist with branding, signage, and in-store promotional displays.
Office & Customer Support (as needed):
  • Answer phones and assist walk-in customers.
  • Provide friendly customer service and administrative support.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong creative skills with experience in content creation and video (phone or camera).
  • Comfortable managing YouTube channels and social media platforms.
  • Experience with content editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, Canva, etc.) is a big plus.
  • Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to juggle multiple projects.
  • Passion for cars, automotive, or motorsports is a huge advantage.
  • Reliable and dependable with a positive attitude.

Previous marketing or communications experience is helpful, but we’re more interested in your creativity, work ethic, and ability to learn quickly. If you love making content and can help local businesses grow through social media and video, we want to hear from you!

Compensation & Schedule:
  • Competitive base salary with performance incentives tied to engagement, follower growth, content performance, and business results.
  • Full-time position.
  • Some evenings and weekends required during special events or car shows.

How to Apply:
Please send the following to apply:
  • Your resume.
  • Links to your social media profiles, YouTube channels, or any content you’ve created/managed (portfolio is highly encouraged).
  • A short paragraph sharing one creative idea you would use to promote a local automotive or motorsports business through social media or YouTube.

We’re excited to see what kind of content and growth strategies you can bring to our team!
