Emergency Department Nurse (Day/Evening Flex) 


Job Type: Contract
Facility: Hermiston, OR
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Shift: Day/Evening Flex 


About the Role

Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team on a 13-week contract. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing medical emergencies — from minor injuries to critical, life-threatening situations.

You’ll work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and fellow nurses to deliver rapid and compassionate emergency care in a fast-paced hospital environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Triage, assess, and provide immediate and effective patient care.

  • Coordinate and supervise nursing support staff to ensure quality care.

  • Follow established nursing standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Participate in emergency response activities and maintain accurate documentation.


Qualifications
  • Active RN License – State of Oregon (must be current and in good standing)

  • Minimum Experience: 3+ years in Emergency Room nursing

  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (preferred)

  • EMR Experience: EPIC

  • Availability: Must be able to work Day/Evening Flex shifts and holidays
