In the role of a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be essential in offering comprehensive support to mothers and their infants. Your responsibilities will include monitoring laboring mothers, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring the well-being of both mother and child. Your expertise and compassionate approach will be crucial in fostering a positive birthing experience.
- Monitor and evaluate the condition of laboring mothers and newborns
- Assist during the delivery process and provide postpartum support
- Administer medications and manage pain relief strategies
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and execute care plans
- Maintain precise and thorough patient records using Epic
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting
- BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory
- Experience with Epic is required
