Registered Nurse - Infusion Center
Saint Johnsbury, VT

Pay: $2175 - $2621 | Shift: 5x8 Days
Are you a compassionate and detail-oriented nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in patient care? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where your skills in infusion therapy can shine? Our healthcare partner is seeking a dedicated Infusion Center Nurse to provide both direct clinical care and essential administrative support within a dynamic infusion center. In this role, you'll ensure the safe administration of intravenous therapies, coordinate infusion services, and contribute to operational workflows, including scheduling, order review, and payer communications. As an Infusion Center Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering safe and compassionate infusion therapy. You will administer IV medications and therapies, coordinate clinical and administrative operations, and educate and support patients and families. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Administering IV medications and therapies following standards, while monitoring patient responses and ensuring comfort and safety
  • Managing scheduling, prior authorizations, and clinical order reviews, while maintaining effective communication with providers, payers, and care teams
  • Providing clear, personalized education about treatment plans, assessing understanding, and documenting teaching efforts to promote informed care
  • Maintaining thorough and timely documentation in electronic health records, medication administration logs, and transfusion records in accordance with hospital policies
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • Graduate of an approved RN School of Nursing
  • Minimum of two years RN experience required
  • One-year acute care experience preferred
  • BSN required
  • Current Vermont or multi-state compact Registered Nurse license
  • Current BLS from the American Heart Association
  • Preferred certifications: Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI)
  • Need 2 years experience in setting
  • FLU shot required, no exceptions
