Job description


Job Title- Java Developer
Responsibilities:
  • Designs, develop documents, tests and debugs new and existing software systems and/or applications.
  • Participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.
  • Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.
  • Consults with end user to prototype, refine, test and debug programs to meet needs.
  • Creates technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
  • Serves as technical expert on development projects.
  • Identifies and evaluates new technologies for implementation.
  • Creates/maintains documentation for software functionality; project planning; evaluations; budgeting, feedback and improvements.
  • Minimizes risk, prepares for risk mitigation, keeps project on track.
  • Manages user requirements; provides timely project updates.
  • Analyzes codes to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.

Skills Required:
  • 6+ years of working experience as a Java developer
  • Experience with user interface design.
  • Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest.
  • Excellent programing & troubleshooting skills.
  • Prior experience working with Medicaid / Healthcare projects
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $80,080 - $104,000.
