Job description

Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Construction Hauler to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth transportation of construction materials, debris, and equipment to and from job sites. If you are committed to safety, punctuality, and efficiency, we invite you to become a part of our dynamic construction team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Operate heavy-duty trucks and hauling equipment to transport construction materials, debris, and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Load and unload materials, ensuring proper securing to prevent damage or accidents.
  • Follow designated routes and schedules to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws while on the road.
  • Communicate effectively with site managers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.

Requirements

  •  Must obtain a valid Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Examiner's Certificate (medical card)
  • Proven experience operating heavy trucks and construction hauling equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in transportation and construction.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance.
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
  • Physical ability to load, unload, and handle heavy materials.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or 65 pounds without help.
  • Prepared to work in all weather and must be prepared for extreme heat or cold.
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks timely and effectively deal with the public courteously and respectfully.
