Job description

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and curb appeal of the apartment community. This role ensures that all outdoor areas, common spaces, and amenities are well-kept, safe, and welcoming for residents, guests, and prospective residents.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all common areas, including sidewalks, parking lots, breezeways, stairwells, and amenity spaces
  • Perform daily property walks to remove trash, debris, and litter from grounds and landscaped areas
  • Oversee landscaping vendors and provide assistance, as needed
  • Assist with seasonal landscaping tasks such as leaf removal, mulching, and snow/ice removal, if requested
  • Empty trash receptacles and ensure dumpster areas are clean and orderly
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or property damage to the maintenance team and Community Manager
  • Assist the maintenance team with minor tasks and unit turns as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at all times
  • All other tasks, as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Basic knowledge and ability to operate landscaping equipment and maintenance tools
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Must be able to provide proof of valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportatio
