You will serve as a Supervisory Electronics Technician in the BIOMEDICAL REPAIR DEPARTMENT of NAVMEDREADLOGCMD.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience utilizing complex systems and large sophisticated patient monitoring systems.
- Experience applying knowledge of Electronics theory and medical procedures.
- Experience supervising performance of maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, overhaul, and surveillance testing of electronic components, medical equipment and systems, and modifications based on official guidance.
- Experience operating a wide variety of Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment to include invasive and non-invasive.
Preferred experience includes the following: (1) The DoD Biomedical Equipment Technician program.
(2) An associate degree in biomedical Electronics Technology or equivalent from an accredited institution.
(3) An associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent from an accredited institution and be a Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET), Certified Radiography Equipment Specialist (CRES), or Certified Laboratory Equipment Specialist (CLES).
