Job description

Nocturnist Advanced Practice Provider

HCA Healthcare is seeking an experienced full-time Nocturnist Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Hospital Medicine Team at HCA Florida Highlands Hospital in Sebring, Florida.

Qualified Candidates

  • Willing to work as Nocturnist (weekdays and weekends) 7pm – 7am
  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least one year of in-patient experience preferred
  • Three years of experience in acute care, cardiac, or pulmonary is preferred
  • Acute Care certified preferred for NP or Critical Care experience preferred for NP or PA
  • DEA license is required
  • Current BLS, ACLS certification
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

About Our Hospitalist Program

  • No Procedures / No Codes
  • Open ICU, intensivist coverage
  • Schedule is 7p - 7a; 7 on / 7 off block scheduling
  • Dedicated Nocturnist Team of one remote physician and one APP on site; 7pm to 7am
  • 4 full time physicians & 2 full time APPs in the Hospital Medicine team
