Job description

Science Teacher, Full Time 2026-2027

Dover-Eyota High School is seeking a Science Teacher. This full-time position begins with the 2026-2027 school year.ย 

Dover-Eyota is a vibrant public school district located 12 miles east of Rochester, Minnesota.ย  The secondary building currently serves approximately 570 students in grades 6-12 and employs a faculty committed to student success.ย In 2025, we completed a $ 21 million building project, which included a significant renovation of the majority of the building, as well as the addition of four classrooms, a FACS area, expanded music classrooms, and significant additions to our Agriculture and Industrial Technology areas. This is an example of the excellent community support our district enjoys.

We value our staff and believe they have a great influence on a child's life. We're looking for candidates with a creative education approach that will trigger our learners' curiosity. We want relationship-builders who are dedicated and enthusiastic about making a difference for our students and community.

Qualified candidates will meet the following criteria:

  • A Minnesota license to teach science at the middle school and high school levels is preferred.ย 
  • Positive and innovative professional educator committed to a collaborative and student-centered approach to teaching
