About The Role:
Our Sales Consultants are a major driving factor behind Star Furniture's success. As a Sales Consultant, you are responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by understanding the needs of your clients in order to offer the best service while maximizing sales. A successful candidate will be driven to achieve personal success while making positive contributions to the sales team overall.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Greet and engage customers, uncovering their home furnishing needs and helping them make their design vision become a reality.
  • Energy, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and the ambition to flourish in a customer-centric sales culture.
  • Meet and exceed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators-i.e. monthly invoiced sales, close rate, etc.).
  • Provide world-class customer service and offer customers an unforgettable shopping experience.
  • Build rapport with clients, earning their business through your ability to demonstrate exceptional product knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent listening skills.
  • Develop and maintain a customer base through networking, prospecting, scheduling, and client follow up to ensure customer satisfaction before and after the sale.
  • Complete sales contracts accurately.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in maintaining showroom displays.
  • Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management.

Required Qualifications:
  • 2 - 5 years of experience, preferably in furniture retail.
  • Previous experience in a commission-based sales environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, bilingual a plus!
  • Ability to network and build relationships with customers.
  • Strong goal-oriented nature with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work a 5-day retail schedule that includes weekends (both Saturday and Sunday), and most holidays.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Work Environment:
