Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching.
  • Experience with:
    • OSPF
    • VLANs
    • Inter-VLAN Routing
    • Trunking
    • Port Channels (EtherChannel)
    • Spanning Tree
    • Cisco CLI
  • Experience administering VMware vSphere/vCenter environments.
  • Knowledge of ESXi host networking, virtual switches, port groups, and VLAN tagging.
  • Experience troubleshooting enterprise wireless environments.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking principles.
  • Experience supporting enterprise Windows infrastructure.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in the Houston area.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CCNP certification preferred.
  • CCNA with strong enterprise networking experience.
  • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Experience with enterprise backup technologies such as Cohesity or similar platforms.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools.
  • Exposure to storage technologies and virtualization best practices.
  • Experience coordinating infrastructure projects and vendor activities.
  • PowerShell or automation scripting experience is a plus.
