Silgan Closures, a Fortune 500 leader in sustainable packaging solutions, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer - Lithography and Coatings to support our manufacturing operations in Hazleton. PA. This role is ideal for a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Coating Engineer, Packaging Engineer, or Industrial Engineer with experience in metal packaging, coil coating, lithography, and continuous improvement initiatives.
As a Manufacturing Process Engineer - Lithography and Coatings, you will provide technical leadership and engineering support for metal coil cutting, sheet coating, lithography, oven curing, and related manufacturing processes.

What you will do:
As a Manufacturing Process Engineer - Lithography and Coatings, you will support plant operations through project leadership, process improvements, and equipment optimization initiatives
Lead process improvements that enhance quality, safety, and production efficiency
Support coil coating, lithography, curing ovens, oxidizers, and heat recovery systems.
Troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment and identify root causes of operational issues.
Lead equipment installations, audits, overhauls, and qualification activities.
Collaborate with plant teams and OEM suppliers to develop new products and manufacturing solutions.
Train operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel on equipment setup, operation, and safety requirements.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, including LOTO, machine guarding, confined space, and safe work practices
Support other manufacturing locations in Evansville, IN, Richmond, IN as well as Hazleton, PA
