About the Role

This position will help design, develop, and maintain the company's next-generation CMS framework. The engineer will build and connect reusable components in Next.js based on Figma or wireframe designs, configure and model content structures in Sanity CMS, and apply AI tools throughout the development lifecycle for efficiency and innovation. The ideal candidate is highly experienced, self-driven, and fluent in integrating AI into daily workflows.

Requirements:

  • 5-6 years of professional software engineering experience, focused on front-end or full-stack web development.
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Next.js / React, JavaScript / TypeScript, and modern web development practices.
  • Proven experience building and configuring Sanity CMS or other headless CMS platforms.
  • Demonstrated, consistent use of AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) in software design, coding, debugging, and optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Next.js, React, HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience interpreting Figma or other design files into scalable, accessible components.
  • Strong understanding of headless CMS concepts, content modeling, and API integration (REST / GraphQL / GROQ).
  • Familiarity with Node.js, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development.
  • Experience deploying to Vercel, Azure, AWS, or comparable cloud platforms.
  • Working knowledge of web performance, SEO, and accessibility best practices.
  • Routine use of AI-assisted development for coding, testing, documentation, and workflow automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain front-end components and CMS integrations in Next.js / Sanity.
  • Translate Figma designs and wireframes into performant, maintainable code.
  • Design and implement Sanity schemas, data models, and workflows.
  • Support migration from legacy CMS platforms using automation and AI-assisted methods.
  • Prototype and implement AI-driven site features (e.g., intelligent search, personalization).
  • Participate in code reviews, ensure code quality, and share best practices for AI-augmented development.
  • Mentor junior engineers in front-end and AI-enhanced workflows.
  • Integrates AI into every stage of development - design, build, debug, document, and ideate.
