Job description

Valley View hospital is seeking an Endo Tech that is experienced and can assist our Provider's with high level, complex cases.

As the Endoscopy Tech, you will assist nursing staff and physician during the procedure with efficient running of equipment related to the needs of the procedure. Disinfects and processes endoscopic equipment; assists with troubleshooting of equipment; Sets up room for procedures; Transports patients as needed; Stocks rooms with supplies and equipment; Assists patients with getting dressed and ambulation as directed by nursing staff; Assists with applying EKG monitors, BP cuff and pulse oximetry prior to start of case.

Full time - 40 hours/week; with call rotation.

Requirements:

  • BLS endorsed by the American Heart Association with card in-hand after start date.
  • 1 year of Endo Tech experience is preferred, but willing to train the right person.
  • Advanced Case Endo experience is strongly preferred.
  • Must be Registered with DORA as a Surgical Tech prior to starting.
  • GI Technical Specialist (GTS) advanced certification issued by SGNA or needs to be obtained within 6 months.
  • IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Certification obtained within two years of hire.
  • Must be available to take rotating call.

PAY RANGE

  • $23.88-$35.12/hour
  • Starting wage dependent upon experience, education/certifications, and skill set
  • $2.25/hour evening shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 3:00pm-11:30pm.
  • $4.00/hour night shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 11:00pm - 7:30am.
  • $2.25/hour weekend differential when working 5 or more continuous hours between 7pm on Friday and 7am on Sunday.
  • Annual Bonuses based upon organizational and individual performance.
