Position Description
12-month professional staff position responsible for providing early outreach, information, and support to high school students engaged in SUNY JCC programs, including College Connections, EARN, and REACH. Provides basic information on programs of study and appropriate coursework and acts as a link to faculty advisors.
This position will require frequent travel to area high schools throughout Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties, as well as between the Jamestown and Cattaraugus County campuses.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years of professional experience. Oral and written communication skills and group presentation skills necessary. Competence with technology and commonly used software programs. Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team. Commitment to providing excellent customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred: One (1) year experience in higher education advisory setting.
