Implementation Software Engineer
Salary Range: $75k - $85k

What You Will Do
The Implementation Software Engineer works closely with the Implementation Project Managers to perform backend application development and configure the RateLinx system, specific to the customer’s custom requirements.
You will create and support custom system solutions by:
  • Design, configure, and deploy TMS solutions based on customer requirements
  • Build and maintain API integrations with ERP, WMS, EDI providers, telematics, and third-party logistics platforms
  • Develop custom workflows, automation rules, reports, and system enhancements
  • Support data migration efforts including mapping, transformation, validation, and testing
  • Write and maintain clean, scalable, well-documented code
  • Troubleshoot integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and system defects during implementation
  • Participate in customer discovery sessions to gather technical requirements
  • Perform system testing, UAT support, and go-live validation
  • Provide post-go-live technical support during hyper-care phase
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to communicate enhancement requests and product gaps
Who You Are
  • 2+ years of software engineering experience (SaaS preferred)
  • Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and web services
  • Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, C#, Java)
  • Experience with SQL and database management
  • Familiarity with system integrations, EDI (e.g., 204, 214, 210), and data mapping
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work directly with customers in a consultative capacity
