Job description

LUNCH AND KITCHEN STAFF Under the authority of management, the breakfast attendant provides services to residents in accordance with the philosophy and policies of this residence. This is in accordance with the requirements of the Drummond CSSS, the Mauricie and Central Quebec Health and Social Services Agency, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the Act respecting the Protection of Personal Information, Fire Safety Policies, the MAPAQ and the CSST. Tasks specific to your position: Prepare the drinks; Prepare meals according to the order of arrival and medical priorities of residents in the kitchen; Always keep the instruments and workstation clean; Use the equipment safely; Ensure constant monitoring of the comings and goings of residents and their visitors (family, friends, volunteers etc); • Notify the auxiliary nurse immediately of any changes in the resident's eating habits; Follow the food and diet plans requested by the auxiliary nurse (texture and diet); Ensure the continuity and maintenance of the establishment's security by ensuring that doors and fences are locked after deliveries; Helping with the preparation of dinners and suppers; Taking temperatures according to government standards; Help prepare the plates; Assist the waiters with table service when required; Do the dishes; Always keep the instruments and workstation clean; Use the equipment safely; Ensure constant monitoring of the comings and goings of residents and their visitors (family, friends, volunteers etc); Notify the auxiliary nurse immediately of any changes in the resident's eating habits; Follow the food and diet plans requested by the auxiliary nurse (texture and diet); Open the door when required for delivery drivers and visitors; Prepare the different food textures; Common tasks: Notify management immediately of any equipment damage or defects Apply fall and accident prevention measures, notify the auxiliary nurse without delay if there is a fall or incident involving a resident and/or an employee; Comply with the requirements of the Quebec Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.
