Job Summary Support the Davis Camp Parks Division by assisting with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks that help ensure smooth daily operations. This role includes front desk and reception responsibilities, providing a welcoming and helpful first point of contact for visitors. Schedule: Volunteers are expected to contribute up to 24 hours per week About the Position: Operate a County utility vehicle (Gator) in a safe and responsible manner while supporting park operations Perform duties primarily in an office environment, with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions Work involves frequent sitting at a desk while using a computer and standard office equipment May occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds, and infrequently lift items between 25 and 50 pounds Reports To: Volunteer Liaison or Coordinator of assigned location Special Requirement: Must pass a background check May be required to pass a drug screening test Essential Job Functions Greet and assist members of the public in a friendly and professional manner Provide administrative support to office staff, including sorting and distributing mail, making copies, scanning, filing, and organizing documents Maintain accurate records, including alphabetizing files and date-stamping incoming materials Help manage waiting lists and track service requests as needed Monitor deadlines and appointments, ensuring timely communication with staff and visitors Keep inventory of office supplies and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed Secondary Job Functions Understands and interprets procedures and practices related to various departmental and assigned programs.

May talk with individuals to gather preliminary information or verify information for various County programs or activities. Job Requirements Complete all required County training courses Provide an acceptable driving record at no cost to the County Possess a valid Arizona driver's license at the start of the volunteer assignment and maintain it throughout the duration of service Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Modern office practices and records management/maintenance procedures, English grammar and spelling, Basic mathematics required to calculate and perform general accounting procedures, Filing and information systems, including EXCEL and Microsoft Word. Effectively operating personal computers, calculators and peripheral hardware and software products to provide guidance on the maintenance and implementation of developmental procedures of department to which assigned.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation, maintain a high standard of confidentiality, understand brief, written or oral directions and grasp ideas quickly in order to carry out instructions, solve problems with initiative and exercise good judgment.
