This role often involves organizing team travel, managing equipment, handling scheduling, coordinating with coaching staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The purpose is to allow coaches and athletes to focus on training and competition while the operational aspects are efficiently managed. It is an essential role at the collegiate, professional, and even club levels, and often requires excellent organizational and communication skills.
