Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Operate the volleyball program within the philosophy of the school corporation, Head Coach, and the IHSAA expectations.

2. Responsible for the development of the varsity program and the feeder program.

3. Resposible for all squad members from reporting time until departure from school grounds.

4. Follow all guidelines and policies set forth by the school.

5. Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the coach and the administration.

Athletics Director

Head Coach

Compensation:

Based on ECA Classified Pay Scale

Qualifications:

1. The preferred candidate will be a licensed teacher.

2. The preferred candidate will have experience working with high school aged student athletes.

3. The preferred candidate has coaching and playing experience.

4. The preferred candidate has successful coaching experience in either high school as the head coach or club volleyball.

5.  The preferred candidate will have strong character and have the ability to build relationships with players and parents.

6.  The preferred candidate will be able to collaborate with other sports and coaches.

7.  The preferred candidate will be available to start immediately following Board approval.

8. The preferred candidate must have a willingness to develop a successful high school program and feeder system.
