Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic vocal professional to help students develop healthy technique, expressive musicianship, and confidence in their singing. The ideal candidate creates a supportive, engaging learning environment and tailors instruction to meet the needs, goals, and experience levels of each student.
What You’ll Do- Provide individual and/or group vocal instruction for students of varying ages and skill levels
- Teach healthy vocal technique, breath support, tone production, diction, pitch accuracy, and performance skills
- Develop customized lesson plans based on student goals, experience, and progress
- Select appropriate repertoire that supports vocal development and musical growth
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Prepare students for recitals, auditions, performances, competitions, or exams as needed
- Foster confidence, discipline, and enjoyment in the learning process
- Maintain a professional, encouraging, and inclusive studio environment
- Communicate effectively with students and, when applicable, parents or guardians
- Experience teaching voice or performing professionally in vocal music
- Strong knowledge of vocal pedagogy, music theory fundamentals, and performance practice
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and skill levels
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine commitment to student development
- Ability to create a positive and motivating learning experience
