ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA), the nation's largest ENT practice with80locations throughout New York, New Jersey,Texas,Pennsylvaniais seeking enthusiastic and motivated Audiology Externs to join our team. We offer a comprehensive, hands-on externship experience in a collaborative environment alongside experienced audiologists, renowned otolaryngologists, and otologists.

Compensation:$21.64/hr

Clinical Experience

Our fast-paced, high-volume offices provide extensive exposure across a wide range of audiological services for patients of all ages, including:

  • Comprehensive diagnostic audiological testing for pediatrics and adults

  • Otoacoustic Emissions (OAEs)

  • Vestibular testing (VNG)

  • Electrocochleography (ECochG)

  • Hearing aid evaluations, fittings, follow-ups, and troubleshooting with multiple manufacturers

  • Ear plug fitting and dispensing

  • Auditory osseointegrated device fitting and dispensing (availability varies by location)

  • Patient rapport-building, history-gathering, and counseling across all service areas

Extern Curriculum & Educational Support

Our structured curriculum is designed to complement clinical training with targeted educational programming throughout the year:

  • Onsite trainings with leading hearing aid manufacturers

  • Dedicated educational sessions on VNG, ABR, and ECochG

  • Hearing aid acceptance and counseling training

  • Enrichment and professional development activities

  • Invitations to all departmental audiologist trainings and events

  • Regular check-ins with the audiology management team to support your clinical and educational goals

Placement & Compensation

Externs will be primarily placed at one or two offices selected to maximize their learning experience. Placement decisions take both educational value and extern preferences into consideration.

This is a paid externship ($21.64/hr) with the potential for full-time employment as an audiologist upon licensure.

  • In-person site visit
