eNGINE is seeking a Senior VMware Infrastructure Engineer for a client in the Pittsburgh area. This individual will support a large-scale enterprise VMware environment with a focus on infrastructure strategy, automation, patching, upgrades, disaster recovery, and security remediation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting VMware technologies including vCenter, ESXi, SRM, VMware Aria Automation, and Aria Operations
  • Leading patching, upgrade planning, security remediation, and vulnerability management initiatives
  • Supporting disaster recovery and replication strategies across enterprise infrastructure environments
  • Assisting with automation and scripting efforts using tools such as PowerShell or Ansible
  • Troubleshooting complex virtualization, server, storage, and infrastructure issues
  • Maintaining infrastructure documentation, reporting, and operational procedures
  • Collaborating with infrastructure, security, and application teams on modernization and operational initiatives

Requirements:

  • Strong VMware engineering experience within large enterprise environments
  • Experience supporting VMware Aria Suite, vCenter, SRM, and enterprise virtualization platforms
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure patching, security remediation, and disaster recovery
  • Experience with automation/scripting technologies
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Experience supporting large-scale environments preferred
