We're looking for a Senior VKS Engineer to join a team focused on helping enterprise organizations build and modernize private cloud platforms using VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.


This is a highly technical, customer-facing role where you'll lead VMware Kubernetes Service (VKS) deployments from design through implementation, helping customers adopt modern Kubernetes platforms on VCF.


What you'll be doing:


  • Design, deploy, configure, and validate VMware Kubernetes Service (VKS) environments on VMware Cloud Foundation 9.
  • Lead customer engagements from discovery and architecture through implementation and knowledge transfer.
  • Build scalable Kubernetes platforms for enterprise customers, including single-site, multi-site, and stretched cluster environments.
  • Work across the full VCF stack, including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, SDDC Manager, and VMware Aria.
  • Automate deployments and platform operations using modern infrastructure automation tools.
  • Assist customers with Kubernetes platform architecture, application modernization, lifecycle management, and operational best practices.
  • Create technical documentation and provide guidance throughout project delivery.


What we're looking for:


  • Hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.
  • Experience deploying and managing VMware Kubernetes Service (VKS/TKGs) or other enterprise Kubernetes platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture and cloud-native technologies.
  • Experience with one or more of the following:
  • OpenShift
  • Amazon EKS
  • Azure AKS
  • Google GKE
  • Rancher
  • Strong knowledge of the VMware stack, including:
  • vSphere
  • vSAN
  • NSX
  • SDDC Manager
  • VMware Aria
  • Experience leading customer-facing implementation or consulting engagements.
  • VMware and/or Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
