Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide Senior level expertise for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment.

• Lead as the Subject Matter Expert on all VDI related issues/needs.

• Provide support for ticket escalation on major outages.

• Be able to work in a rapid paced environment at times.

• Provide strategic leadership and input with development partners to ensure customers understand emerging needs and technological advancements.

• Lead the onboarding and standup of new enclaves and environments as needed.

• Interacts with Tier III support and evaluates vendor products.

• Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

• Creates, maintains, and implements detailed documentation and maintains standard operating procedures.

• Application of security settings and other commercial best

Provides coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level technical staff.

Bachelor's degree and/or 8+ years of overall related experience with a Windows/Linux server environment. Extensive experience working with virtual environments using VMware and VDI practices Experience with Horizons Active Top Secret/SCI is required for this position. IAT Level II

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reston, VA.

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
